1. General

La Luna Baila is a family owned business based in Tacande, El Paso, La Palma, Canary Islands. Business purpose is the rental and management of apartments and bungalows. Managers are Jesper Kaas and Verena Kaas.

2. Registration, travel confirmation

A booking request for accommodation can be made by telephone, fax or e-mail.

After the receiving of the booking request and after the availability check, the guest receives a verbal or written offer.

Acceptance of the offer by the guest, makes the booking for the guest binding.

The written confirmation by La Luna Baila (by mail, fax or e-mail) follows the acceptance of the offer by the guest.

3. Payment

After receiving the confirmation the guest transfers an advance payment amount of max. 25% of the total amount to the designated bank account in the booking confirmation. Upon receipt of your deposit the booking for La Luna Baila is binding.

The remaining rental sum is settled on arrival or transferred in advance depending on the specific agreement in the confirmation.

The transfer costs from foreign bank fees (private, foreign) are to be carried by the guest.

4. Services

The completion of the reservation obliges the contractor to fulfill the contract entered, regardless for which period concluded.

La Luna Baila is obliged, in case of not being able to provide the accommodation confirmed, to offer the guest an alternate accommodation.

5. Withdrawal and changes by the customer

The guest can at any time withdraw from the contract. The compensation payment due is regulated as follows:
  • up to 50 days before arrival: 25% of the full rental sum
  • 49 days before arrival: 80% of the full rental sum
  •  7 days before arrival: 100% of the full rental sum

6. Responsibilities

The guest is obliged to report defects or damages in buildings or facilities immediately or respectively within 24 hours to the owner / administrator, so that the damage can be repaired promptly. Subsequent complaints are not accepted.

The guest is obliged to treat house and facilities carefully, to report all damages caused to the property owner / manager and to bear the cost of repair or replacement.

7. Performance - Jurisdiction

Any claims for damages are be submitted to the owner. Place of performance and legal domicile is the location of the property or the residence of the owner.
